Jim Young and Sarah Young are the founders of Van Hollow Pottery offering pottery classes and creating handmade stoneware including Extreme Forms or large ceramic works that have architectural value for special display opportunities as well as day-to-day functional art pottery including bistro cups, serving bowls, sculpted vases, hanging platters and a vast array of other items. Van Hollow Pottery is located on the Van Hollow arm of scenic Beaver Lake in the Ozark Mountains of northwest Arkansas.

Class Information: Jim also runs a teaching studio offering clay classes of all skill levels. Learn all phases of handmade pottery ...pinch pots, coil pots, slab constructions, and wheel thrown pots. The studio offers a wide range of glazes and firing techniques including raku and high-fire reduction stoneware . Jim is an Artist listed in the Arkansas Arts in Education program.
