Garlic health benefits and medicinal properties have long been known  Garlic has long been considered a herbal "wonder drug", with a reputation in folklore for preventing everything from the common cold and flu to the Plague!

Garlic Roaster 

                 “Garlic is as good as ten mothers” - Indian proverb

 Roasted garlic gives a fragrant, nutty - sweet flavor spread on a rustic toasted bread or incorporated into another dish.

Roasting:   Arrange up to 4 whole garlic heads in the roaster after cutting 1/2 inch off the tips.  Face tips up. (Alternative:  cover bottom of roaster with peeled loose cloves.)

 Pour 1/2 cup olive oil over the garlics and season with salt and freshly ground pepper, 2 to 3 sprigs of fresh thyme and 1 to 2 bay leaves.  Cover with the domed roaster lid.  Place baker on a cookie sheet in a cold oven and cook one hour at 375°F.

Garlic Grater    

To use the garlic grater, all you have to do is add a little olive oil to the dish; peel a fresh garlic and grate it on the grating area in the center; add a little salt and Italian seasonings; put an individual grater at each place setting and dip bread into the dish

Also great as a zester for lemons - limes - oranges
